TASS published an expert review of the volume of property owned by Russians abroad. Alexey Kotlov, CEO of the GZhA.rf real estate agency, estimated that Russians acquired about 19,000 properties in Turkey from 2023 to 2025.
In Thailand, according to him, Russians buy roughly 1,000–1,400 properties every year. In both countries Russian owners rent their property out. GZhA.rf is part of CMP Group.
